TAIMI Researchers Participated in Consortium Meeting on Digital Disruption and Working Life Transitions in Zaragoza

TAIMI researchers Nathan Lillie, Sarah Tornberg, and Quivine Ndomo from WP1 recently participated in a consortium meeting in Zaragoza, Spain, convened by the EGRUiEN project, with which TAIMI collaborates closely.

The discussions focused on several key TAIMI research themes across WP1, WP2, and WP3, particularly digital disruption and adaptation in the care sector as well as developments in the on-demand transport sector.

The meeting provided an important opportunity to exchange perspectives across projects and disciplines, clarify research boundaries in relation to the current state of knowledge, and strengthen networks for future collaboration.

Such international research discussions are essential for ensuring that ongoing work remains both academically rigorous and socially relevant, especially in sectors undergoing rapid technological and organizational change.

The meeting also supported continued cooperation between researchers working on questions related to labour market transitions, platform work, digitalization, and working life transformation.

We look forward to continuing this collaboration and returning to Zaragoza in Autumn 2026 as part of TAIMI’s international mobility activities to further develop research on the on-demand transport sector.
