Hilla Back Named Finalist for Gunnar Hedlund Award

TAIMI project researcher Hilla Back (WP4) has been named a finalist for the Gunnar Hedlund Award (2023–2025), presented at the European International Business Academy (EIBA) conference in Athens, Greece, held on 10–13 December 2025.

The recognition was awarded for her PhD dissertation, “Skilled yet minoritized: An equality, diversity, and inclusion perspective on skilled migrants in multilingual organizations.” The research explores how skilled migrants experience multilingual organizational environments and examines these experiences through the perspectives of equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).

The finalist nomination highlights the academic quality and societal relevance of the research conducted within the TAIMI project. The work contributes to ongoing discussions on inclusive workplaces, multilingualism, and equitable practices in international and organizational contexts.
