Quivine Ndomo

Quivine Ndomo is a Postdoctoral Researcher with a strong interdisciplinary background spanning migration studies, labour markets, and social policy. Her research covers migration regimes and systems, the labour process, the transformation of work and employment, industrial relations, citizenship, and rights, combining theoretical depth with policy relevance.
She brings extensive methodological expertise and has a strong track record of stakeholder engagement. Quivine actively participates in policy dialogues and public events across Finland, collaborating with actors in universities in Finland as well as institutions including the Non-Discrimination ombudsman, Prime Minister’s Office, the Migration Institute of Finland, ELY Centres, and municipal authorities including the City of Helsinki and Jyväskylä. She also contributes to university teaching and academic mentoring.
The central aim of her work is to produce socially impactful research. She is committed to translating academic findings into insights that are accessible beyond academia and useful for policymakers and practitioners. Her research portfolio also includes emerging areas such as climate-induced mobility and migration, with a focus on environmental crises and displacement.
