Jhoomer Chandra

Jhoomer Chandra is a Research Fellow in the Department of Management Studies at Aalto University, with an academic background in Finance and Management Studies. Originally from India, she brings extensive international experience in research and teaching to her work on institutional structures, economic development, and social inclusion. Her research interests lie at the intersection of corporate systems, labour market integration, and the broader societal impacts of technology-driven economic transformation.

Currently, Jhoomer leads a postdoctoral research project examining the economic integration of skilled expatriate spouses in Finland. Her work explores the integration support ecosystem from the perspectives of both service providers and recipients, with particular attention to the role of corporate citizenship in fostering labour market inclusivity. Through this research, she aims to generate actionable recommendations that can strengthen integration policies and enhance the participation and retention of highly skilled international talent within the Finnish labour market.
