TAIMI Research Featured at Alumnträffen 2026 on Resilience and the Future of Work

We are proud to share that TAIMI researcher Hertta Vuorenmaa represented her research and TAIMI at Alumnträffen 2026: Resilience as a Strategy – How Do We Build the Future of Work Together?

In her keynote presentation, “Future Competencies – What, Why, and How?”, Vuorenmaa explored how changing skill requirements, adaptability, and continuous learning are shaping the future of work in an increasingly uncertain and rapidly changing environment.

The event brought together representatives from academia and industry to discuss resilience not only as a theoretical concept, but also as a practical strategy for organizations, leaders, and employees navigating ongoing transformation in working life.

The discussions highlighted themes such as psychological safety, sustainable work cultures, and the importance of building organizational environments that support long-term wellbeing, learning, and adaptability. The program also included sessions on sustainable organizational cultures and a panel discussion on whether resilience is becoming a new competitive advantage in the future of work.

TAIMI’s research connects closely with these themes through its focus on inclusion, resilience, and sustainable working life transitions.

We would like to warmly thank the organizers — The Intelligence Company, Hanken School of Economics, University of Helsinki, Åbo Akademi University, Novia University of Applied Sciences, and Åland University of Applied Sciences — for creating a space for meaningful and timely dialogue.

At TAIMI, we remain committed to advancing research and conversations that support healthier, more resilient, and more inclusive workplaces.
